Kenny Wooten

Founder & Creative Director

Kenny Wooten (he/him) is an award-winning filmmaker and the founder and CEO of STBY Studio in Philadelphia. After graduating with a BFA in Film from the University of the Arts in 2019, he filmed and edited the Discovery Channel show Road Trip Masters, earning three Telly Awards for Best Travel Show, Cinematography, and Editing. That same year, Kenny launched STBY Studio to tell stories that resonate and connect. Since then, he’s produced commissioned work for a wide range of clients, including celebrities, influencers, and executives.

Francis Plata

CEO & Marketing Director

Francis Plata (he/him) is an entrepreneur, creative strategist, and videographer based in Philadelphia. With a background in brand development, marketing, and media production, he’s known for blending strategy with storytelling. Francis founded Forward Press Media to help entrepreneurs and thought leaders create content with clarity and impact. At STBY Studio, he brings a strategic lens to every project, working with executives, creators, and mission-driven brands to produce visuals that resonate and last. Outside of his work, Francis serves on the board of A Soldier’s Hands, a nonprofit supporting active-duty service members. He’s also a dedicated traveler, Spartan race competitor, and lifelong musician.
